A rediscovered Renaissance masterpiece

The Puy du Fou Château is the famous set for the Cinéscénie show, as well as the venue for an immersive show taking visitors on an exploration of this masterpiece of the Renaissance. This château was classified a historical monument in 1962, and it is a real treasure of the architecture of that period. Designed by the renowned, royal architect, Le Primatice, it combines all the features of a ceremonial building at the forefront of modernity. It was described by Thierry Crépin-Leblond as “a Renaissance masterpiece whose beauty, size and architecture rival the castles of the Loire valley”.

A captivating investigation inside the château
